Sharing is caring

Share your projects and knowledge with the community
At Copenhagen Fablab we talk a lot about sharing knowledge – you can think of it as our most valued currency. This is a way to give back to the Danish and international FabLab and maker community that has shared a lot of the skills and inspiration that you and I are using today.
Sharing platforms
You share your knowledge by documenting your project and tagging it #cphfablab or #copenhagenfablab when you share it on your prefered platform.
Feel free to use any platform you prefer, though we recommend the following:
- Social Medie e.g. Instagram and Facebook.
- Our official Facebook-group 'Copenhagen Fablab'. This group is meant for user communication and updates on activities and machines.
- Instructables
- YouMagine
- Thingiverse
- GitHub
- GrabCAD
Ideas on what to document
You can share your process, experience and results. You do not need to include all of the info – but the more you give, the more grateful the community is.
Share e.g.
- Images - before and after, work in progress
- Design files - .ai, .stl, .png, .gcode, .svg etc.
- Programming files - .ino etc.
- Machine settings – speeds, power, layer height, gram force etc
- What material you used - Size, thickness
- What tools you used and its accessories - Bits, blades, adhesives etc?
- Where you bought your components
- What you would do differently - What went well, what did not go so well?
