Hedda Gabler

Hedda Gabler is an English theater performance by The Thirdheaded Collective. Dealing with the themes of identity, gender roles and power, this timeless play reveals some of the core dilemmas in humankind.

Hedda Gabler: People Don’t Do Such Things, is an ode to human existence and its complexity. Our adaptation of this timeless play comes to life through the embodiment and physical understanding of what makes us rational beings, and what deprives us from it. By emphasising the themes of identity, gender roles and power all together with shattering the idea of living with a meaning pre-established for us before birth (be it 1891, be it 2025), we raise the question of how can one be free?

Performed in English.
