MIGRANIIAS VOL. 1

Migranias is a project created by immigrant artists residing in
Copenhagen. Through diverse disciplines such as photography, music,
dance, poetry, and film, they seek to express, from their creative
perspective, the different stages of the migration process. They also
aim to create a space for local artists to share feedback on each of
their works and discuss the role each plays in the society.
For this first edition, the lineup will include:

Live Acts (UnderWerket)

Sofia Cardich: Indie singer-songwriter, who will be presenting her
latest album titled ¨Autodefinido¨

Jaguars in a Room: An indie grunge trio, will be performing for the
first time, as a celebration of their namesake EP, released in June.

Venus in Noise: A duo based in London what fuses new wave with
post-punk and electro, will be performing for the first time in the
city.

DJ Sets:

Parlagreco: Known for his oscillations between progressive house and
techno, will be presenting a special set in which he will return to
his roots and fully immerse himself in groove-filled classic techno.

Another Western: Copenhagen based producer will be providing music
between acts, promoting emerging music from around the world.

Cinema:

Festiclip 6th Edition: This mini festival features a fine selection of
music videos from independent Latin American artists.

Poesia Entre la Hierba (Poetry among the Grass): An audiovisual poetry
cycle, created by the audiovisual production companies Golondrina Cine
and Puentes Amarillos, will be screened in Europe for the first time.

Exhibition:

Absentia (Absence): Felicitas Linares presents her record of analog
photography generated during the process of solitary migration and the
search for refuge outside her home. The record includes poems that
attempt to generate connection with others and recount the
interrelationship between the states of need for solitude and
companionship.

Admission is free and the festival will run from 4:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m
